ProMod 2020 FACTORY STOCK RULES – as of 12/3/19 BODY: Any American made stock passenger car body on a stock unaltered full frame, or Chrysler & Ford unibodies.NO front wheel drives. No Camaro, Mustangs or Station Wagons. Stock appearing aftermarket plastic nose piece can be drilled for air but may not be extended with any type of material. The ignition system must be stock, including the distributor, cap, coil, and wires. Points may be replaced with any electronic conversion that fits under the stock distributor cap. Replacement coils are allowed as long as they are the correct shape, color, and size. NHRA Announces 2019 SamTech.edu NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules and Procedures. NHRA announced rule revisions for the Factory Stock Showdown following a performance review after the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, effective immediately. “Following the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationls, we had a meeting with the three manufacturers to review the performance data of the Factory Stock Showdown”, said Glen Gray, NHRA Vice President of technical operations.

TRANSMISSION: Factory stock automatics or standard transmissions must have ALL working gears. A 10 ½” minimum steel/organic single OEM style disc-type 360 degree full clutch with a steel pressure plate and an unaltered STEEL flywheel are allowed 16 lbs. minimum flywheel weight. FACTORY STOCK CLASS OVERVIEW Factory Stock is designed for 1954 and newer Ford bodied vehicles with naturally aspirated 4.6L, 5.0L, & 5.0L Gen I and Gen II Coyote engines. Maximum engine size is 315 CID and entries are limited to certain performance modifications. Note: This set of class rules is presented to all competitors under the assumption that any
